After an hour of driving, we soon arrive at Hobbiton; the movie set location for Lord of The Rings and associated films where you will enjoy an informative 2 1/2 hour tour around the movie set.
You will be taken behind the scenes of such a successful movie, walk through a fully furnished hobbit hole, stand under the party tree, walk past the numerous holes within the Shire, and imagine yourself among the characters. At the conclusion of your journey you get a special treat in the Green Dragon Inn where you will receive a local shire ale, cider or ginger beer.

After the Hobbiton Movie Set tour, we will continue to Mount Manganui for lunch on the beach followed by an afternoon to walk up or around the mountain or enjoying a few hours in the sand before we return back to Hamilton.
Snacks are available in the bus throughout the day as is water. Feel free to help yourselves.
